Rip current off the south end — be careful

Noticed a strong rip pulling out past the rocks on the south end at mid-tide yesterday. Caught a couple of newer members out. Worth a reminder to check the water before paddling out and stick near the flags if you're not confident.

Good shout. It always sets up there on a dropping tide with any size. If you do get caught, paddle parallel to the beach, don't fight it straight in.
